Pet-CT Scan

PET-CT stands for Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography scans. They are both standard imaging tools that China Renji uses to locate disease states in the body. A PET scan shows the biological changes in the body before anatomical changes take place, while the CT scan gives information about the disease’s physical characteristics such as size, shape and location. When these two scanning technologies are used together, a PET-CT scan enables physicians to more accurately diagnose and identify cancer, heart disease and brain disorders.
